AASHTOWare Bridge
AASHTOWare Bridge is a set of tools that support bridge design, load rating, and management. It helps agencies with bridge inspection, maintenance, and replacement decisions.
At MnDOT, we use AASHTOWare Bridge Rating (BrR), and the current version is 7.6.1.3001.
Licensing
BrR software is available to consultants at a discounted rate for use on Minnesota structures.
Step 1
Notify us by emailing Yihong Gao wih the following information:
- Consultant name
- Primary user(s)
- Number of licenses
- Project/contract
Step 2
Order your Special Consultant/Agency Option license through AASHTOWare.

For Special Consultant Licenses, the primary technical support channel is through MnDOT. Email Jim Pierce for help with resolving any issues or to report any bugs. Consultants with Unlimited Licenses will have their own account and should work through their organization contact for any technical issues.
