All MnDOT projects - both new construction and rehabilitation projects - must include evaluation to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Components can include, but are not limited to adding curb cuts, truncated domes and accessible pedestrian signals. Read about MnDOT's transition plan to comply with the ADA.
Specifics for this project
Brainerd
- Construct a new pedestrian sidewalk along the east side of Hwy 371B/S 6th St. between Industrial Park Rd and Joseph St.
- Note: Sidewalk will go along the city frontage road between Industrial Park Rd. and Wright St.; and along Hwy 371B/S 6th St. between Wright St. and Joseph St.
- Upgrade the pedestrian signal components and approaches at the Buffalo Hills Ln./Hwy 371B/Industrial Park Rd. intersection
Crews will install new sidewalk along the east side of Hwy 371B between Industrial Park Rd. and Joseph St.
