Project purpose, benefits

  • To relocate, replace and/or add signs along five highways in MnDOT's District 4 Detroit Lakes/Morris region
  • Project included an engineering assessment to determine which signs needed to be relocated, replaced, and/or added in order to meet standards
  • Construction activities included relocating, replacing and/or adding signs in accordance with the engineering assessment
  • Contractors were required to provide a database containing final sign installation information to MnDOT
