Information about upcoming traffic impacts will be posted as details become available. Motorists can expect a full closure of Hwy 55 with a detour.
Road closures
August through November
- Olson Hwy Service Rd. is closed in both directions in front of Summit Academy OIC. Alternative entrances into Summit Academy will remain open.
- Van White Memorial Blvd. and W Lyndale Ave. will be open and accessible to travel south
- Bryant Ave. will remain open and access to the school via Service Rd. and Bryant Ave. will remain open before Labor Day.
Tue, Sept. 6 through mid-October
- Hwy 55 is closed in both directions between I-94 and Van White Memorial Blvd.
- Local access detour for WB Hwy 55: W Lyndale Ave. to 4th Ave. to Van White Memorial Blvd.
- Local access detour for EB Hwy 55: Van White Memorial Blvd. to Dunwoody Blvd. to 16th St. N to E Lyndale Ave.
- Through traffic detour for WB Hwy 55: Dunwoody Blvd. to Lyndale Ave., take on ramp for WB I-394 to Hwy 100
- Through traffic detour for EB Hwy 55: SB Hwy 100 to EB I-394
