No travel advised on Wadena and Todd county hwys
Blowing snow with low visibility creates hazardous driving conditions
BRAINERD, Minn. — (10:15 a.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation advises no travel on state hwys in Wadena and Todd counties due to due to high winds, blowing snow and low visibility (less than 1/10 of mile). Severe wind gusts up to 40 mph are expected to continue through the afternoon.
No Travel Advised means that the roadway has deteriorated and/or visibility has been reduced to the point that it is very dangerous to travel.
Snowplows will continue to operate, but motorists are advised not to travel until conditions improve.
