MnDOT to host open house April 11 for Hwy 169/Hwy 22/Hwy 99 intersection project in St. Peter

MANKATO, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the public to attend an in-person open house on Monday, April 11 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the St. Peter Room in the St. Peter Community Center (600 South Fifth Street) to learn about the Hwy 169/Hwy 22/Hwy 99 intersection project, which is planned for 2023 construction. There is no formal presentation, and attendees are welcome to arrive anytime.

Staff from MnDOT will be available to answer questions and provide more information about the project. Following the open house, there will be a public hearing on the project during the St. Peter City Council meeting, which starts at 7 p.m.

MnDOT will reconstruct the intersections of Hwy 169 with Hwy 22 and Hwy 99 to improve the pavement condition, intersection safety, and traffic flow on the south side of St. Peter. With input from the City of St. Peter, residents and businesses, and other project stakeholders, MnDOT developed concepts and arrived at a layout for 2023 construction. View the layout and learn more about the project at mndot.gov/d7/projects/hwy169-22-99.
