MnDOT seeks feedback from transit riders and service providers
Input needed from travelers in Benton, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright counties
ST. CLOUD, Minn. — MnDOT is seeking feedback from transit riders and service providers to help us plan our future Local Coordination Transit Plan. We want to hear from the traveling public to better understand any issues or transit needs in Region 7W in Benton, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright counties. We also want to hear from transit providers regarding their needs and ideas for improving service. The survey will be open until Tuesday, May 31, and can be found at mndot.gov/d3/region7w.
Information from the survey will be used by MnDOT and the St. Cloud Area Planning Organization to help update the Local Human Service Transit Coordination Plan for Region 7W in Central Minnesota, which is made up of the four counties. The Local Human Service Transit Coordination Plan identifies strategies and potential projects to coordinate transit services for the target populations of elderly, disabled and low-income.
“The feedback we receive from the traveling public is very important. It will help us prioritize needs and identify service gaps for the Local Coordination Transit Plan that is being updated this year,” said Tom Cruikshank, MnDOT District 3 transportation planner, who is leading the plan revision.
MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. If you need an ASL, a foreign language interpreter, or other reasonable accommodation, or need the online survey in an alternative format (such as braille or large print), please email your request to ADArequest.email@example.com or call 1-833-400-8432.
