Hwy 71 closed from Hwy 9 to CR 148 west of New London

WILLMAR, Minn. – (4:20 a.m.) hwy 71 is temporarily closed from hwy 9 west of New London to County Road 148 near Sibley State Park due to a crash. Traffic should follow local detour signs or seek an alternate route. The road will reopen once the crash site has been cleared and investigated, which is estimated to take two to four hours.
