Wadena community invited to future Highway 10 project meet-and-greet Aug. 25
Online survey open through Sept. 10
BAXTER, Minn. – Travelers who drive, ride, walk or do business on Highway 10 in the Wadena area are invited to take the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s survey and/or visit with the project team at a meet-and-greet on Thursday, Aug. 25, for a future transportation project.
Public participation is needed to assist in planning the future needs of Highway 10. The study is being conducted in collaboration with the City of Wadena.
- The proposed project improves six miles of Highway 10 from east of Wadena at 620th Avenue, Otter Tail County, to west of Wadena at Oink Joint Road/140th Street, Wadena County.
- MnDOT is looking at potential environmental impacts and creating a draft geometric layout.
The survey will is open through Saturday, Sept. 10, and can be found on the project webpage: mndot.gov/d3/projects/wadena/h10/.
The public is invited to learn about plans for the Highway 10 project and speak with MnDOT staff. The meet-and-greet will be held on Thursday, Aug. 25, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Maslowski Wellness & Research Center, 17 Fifth St. SW in Wadena. Guests can come and go as they please as there will not be a formal presentation.
