Weekday lane closures

Expect reduced speeds, lane shifts and changes to local access, as follows:

• Hwy 210: reduced to one lane each way at times between Timberwood Dr. and Baxter Dr.
  • Mon-Thurs: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Fri: 7 a.m. to noon
  • Open weekends
• Local access: will close to/from Hwy 210 at times.
  • Follow directional road signs along the north or south frontage roads or seek own routes
    • Memorywood Dr. - Hwy 210 access closed in median
    • Cypress Dr. - Westbound Hwy 210 left turn-lane closed to southbound Cypress Dr. June 9 - late June

Expect roadwork day and night

June 16 to early July

Motorists to encounter crews working 24-7 on Hwy 210 through Baxter, as overnight paving operations begin the week of Mon, June 16.

• 7 a.m. Monday to noon Friday: segments of lane closures, 24-7, on both directions of Hwy 210
• All lanes open weekends with some changes to access, follow signs along frontage roads

Resurface, improve access

MnDOT will resurface both directions of Hwy 210 through Baxter between Baxter Dr. and Timberwood Dr., and improve access and traffic flow west of Highland Scenic Dr. at Memorywood Dr.

Summary of work

Hwy 210

• Resurface the asphalt road between Baxter Dr. and Timberwood Dr., includes turn lanes, shoulders and adjacent entrances



• Improve access and traffic flow on the west end at Memorywood Dr. between Highland Scenic Dr. (Co. Rd. 48) and Meredith Dr. as follows:
  • Westbound Hwy 210: Reconfigure to merge/reduce from two lanes to one lane west of Highland Scenic Dr.
  • Eastbound Hwy 210: Reconstruct the median to add an acceleration lane at Memorywood Dr.
  • Layout image of future access on west end (JPG)
• Install a new signal system at Highland Scenic Dr.
• Relocate pipes beneath the Hwy 210 median west of Memorywood Dr.
• Update pedestrian access
