Social media copy templates
This guide provides pre-approved copy templates for both MnDOT staff and external partners to use when crafting social media advertisements and organic posts. This will ensure a consistent voice throughout all MnDOT social media platforms and offer clear, concise content for our target audience.
If you are unable to find copy suited to your audience, please reach out to the social media team for assistance at socialmedia.dot@state.mn.us.
Various copy options are available for each category to assist in creating ads or posts.
These templates do not have the links in the copy. This is specific to copy for ads. If you are writing for an organic post, here is an example of what the link would look like using the “Version 1” template under “Public meetings.”
