Work begins Oct. 23 to install lighting on Hwy 67 near Wood Lake and Echo

WILLMAR, Minn. —– Work to install lighting on Hwy 67 near Wood Lake and Echo begins Thursday, Oct. 23, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Lighting will be installed at the intersections of Hwy67 and Yellow Medicine County Road 6 in Wood Lake, and at Hwy 67 and Yellow Medicine County Road 21 where Hwy 67 turns south toward Echo.

Work is expected to be completed by Nov. 13. Dates could change due to weather and other unforeseeable circumstances.

Travelers may encounter occasional lane closures and flaggers near the intersections and are asked to be alert for workers and heavy equipment.
Werner Brothers, Inc., is the primary contractor and the project cost is approximately $105,200.
