ROSEVILLE, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the public to attend a public meeting to learn about the road improvement project at Cedar Lake Road and Jordan Avenue S. at Hwy 169 in Minnetonka and St. Louis Park. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in June and to finish in September.
The meeting is 5-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at the Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Avenue, in St. Louis Park. The public is invited to arrive at any time during the public meeting. At the meeting, MnDOT staff will share an overview of road improvements, construction timeframe, traffic impacts and field questions from attendees.
The project improvements include repaving Cedar Lake Road and Jordan Avenue S. (on both sides of Hwy 169) replacing traffic signals, making sidewalk improvements as well as upgrading storm sewers. This work is necessary to maintain the infrastructure and extend the life span of the roads. All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather and schedule dependent, and subject to change.
