MASH High-Tension Cable Barrier
Proprietary MASH high-tension cable barrier (HTCB) systems are engineered systems subject to MnDOT’s Approved/Qualified Products Policy.

Qualified Foundation Designs for MASH HTCB
MASH HTCB systems must employ qualified anchor, terminal post, and line post foundation designs compatible with the HTCB system and site-specific soil information from the Soils Data Report. See the Guidance section of this page for the Qualification Requirements for MASH HTCB Foundations (PDF). Foundation designs that have already been evaluated as meeting the qualification requirements are listed in the Qualified Foundation Designs table, below. Additionalfoundation designs may be available from the manufacturer but require qualification before use.
