Transportation Generalist

Transportation Associates & Transportation Generalists

Our entry-level position is called a Transportation Associate. To apply for a TA positions may require a Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP), Class A or B with no air brake restriction. If you already hold a Class A or B CDL with no air brake restriction plus have one year of related job experience, you may qualify to apply for a Transportation Generalist position. Tanker endorsements are required for some positions. Please list all your endorsements on your resume when you apply.

Hourly wage ranges

$22.82 - $23.51/hour; $47,658 - $49,089/year.

Transportation Associates work as trainees who perform skilled roadway surface and roadside maintenance activities. Following the one-year training period will be an automatic promotion to Transportation Generalist, with good performance.

$24.39 - $30.60/hour; $50,926 - $63,893/year.

Entry-level technical and skilled work involving transportation design, construction and maintenance activities.

$26.28 - $33.98/hour; $54,873 - $70,950/hour.

Intermediate-level technical and skilled work, and/or lead work.

$27.74 - $37.83/hour; $57,921 - $78,989/year.

Senior-level technical and/or specialized work.

Wage increases

Wage increases occur every six months with good performance.
