Hwy 10

Project details

In 2029 and 2030, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will reconstruct Highway 10 from Moorhead to Dilworth, between 13th Street and 34th Street.

Key project elements

• Reconstruct (concrete paving) Highway 10 from 13th Street to 34th Street
• Improve intersection at Highway 10 and Highway 75
• Remove State Patrol Weigh Station
• Upgrade sidewalks/trail
• Improve access management
• Replace signal at intersections of Highway 75, 1st Avenue North/21st Street South, 32nd Street
• Resurface (mill and overlay) Highway 75 north, from Highway 10 to 5th Avenue North

Planning study

Visit the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments' (Metro COG) project website to learn more about the corridor study completed by Metro COG, in partnership with MnDOT, the City of Moorhead and several other local agencies.

This study looked at balancing the needs of motorized and non-motorized traffic with business access. It also considered the changes on Main Avenue in downtown Fargo and what it means for traffic traveling across the Red River through downtown Moorhead. Community and stakeholder input were key in informing the future visions for the corridors.
