Hwy 10, 75 - 11th Street Underpass Project

Current traffic impacts

• Residents/travelers can expect loud noises and vibrations throughout the area during piling operations.
• UPCOMING STARTING OCT. 30: Stage 3/Center Avenue will close between 10th Street and 14th Street.
  • To access businesses west of the work zone, use 8th Street to enter.
• Stage 2/Main Avenue: Right lane closed in both directions on Main Avenue between 10th Street S and 13th Street S. East/west traffic only.
  • North/South detour: 13th Street S, 2nd Ave S, 10th Street S
• Stage 1/First Avenue: All lanes reopened, 10th and 12th Streets now open! North block of 11th Street remains closed through early November.

Construction schedule

Construction will be completed in phases, starting in spring 2024 through fall 2026.

• 2024: Bridge construction and Stage 1 (portions of First Avenue & 11th Street at railroad crossings up to 2nd Ave N)
• 2025: Portion of Stage 1 (First Avenue) and Stage 2 (Main Avenue and 11th Street from 2nd to Main)
• 2026: Stage 3 (Center Avenue & 11th Street under bridges from Main to First)
