About this project
Snelling Ave. Roseville to Arden Hills project location map.
In 2026, we will repair and resurface Snelling Ave. between Hwy 36 in Roseville and Grey Fox Rd. in Arden Hills to provide better ride quality and service life to the pavement. This project will also add connectivity with a new trail section providing access between Lydia Ave. and Snelling Ave. North. This work is necessary to maintain the highway system and to make accessibility improvements.
Summary of work
- Repair/resurface Snelling Ave. between Hwy 36 in Roseville and Grey Fox Rd. in Arden Hills
- Signal repairs and upgrades
- Drainage improvements (culvert replacements and repairs, and larger stormwater pipes and vegetation to control erosion)
- Guardrail replacement along the highway
- Accessibility upgrades to pedestrian ramps and install Audible Pedestrian Signals at:
- Co. Rd. B2
- Co. Rd. C
- Co. Rd. C2
- Lydia Ave.
- Ramsey Co. Rd. E
- Concrete sidewalk extension along the east side of Snelling Ave. from Co. Rd. C to East Snelling Service Dr.
- Construct a trail along the west side of Snelling Ave. between Lydia Ave. and Old Snelling Rd.
